Main Floor Framing

The framing of the main floor went up extremely fast. They were able to finish it in two days! Wow! Here are some pictures of the progress from the middle of August.

f The framers are adjusting the beam over the garage. We special ordered a 9 foot door instead of the usual 8 foot at Carson's request, and it will be cut out into a nice arch when it's done.

This way there will be enough garage clearance for all those Wyoming truckers when we turn around and sell it someday...

Back left corner of house. Three window view is family room with glass door next to it. In front of it is the garage.

Back right corner of house. You can see that they have finished the left side of the house, where the family room and garage is. Right side of house looking into the piano room. We will put the baby grand right in the nook of the bay window area. There will be a wall separating that room from where I am standing which is the kitchen and breakfast nook area.
This view looks into the kitchen and breakfast nook. The sink will go in the left corner under the two windows, and the dining table will be in the french door bay area to the right.
This is looking from the kitchen (by the sink) across into the family room which is 3 stair steps lower than the kitchen area.
