Founation Walls

After receiving several bids for the cement work from Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado, we realized it would be cheaper AND faster to pull a contractor from Utah, and that turned out to be the case! The company we used decided to send most of their crew up here so they could finish the entire project in two days!
They first had some of their crew come up and pour the footings on one day, and then after they were dry, they sent their whole crew up and started late afternoon setting up all of their frames for the foundation walls. They poured the cement early the next morning, and then stripped the frames by that afternoon! In 24 hours they finished the footings, and in another 24 hours they finished the walls! It was incredible! Luckily since it was in July, the weather was warm enough that the cement dried fairly fast, which is why they could do the walls start to finish in one day.

Here's some shots of the finished product. We were really happy with their work and we would definitely use them again. When our framers came, they said that they were really impressed with how square the cement walls were. They told us whoever did the job did it really well. Our inspector also thought the walls looked great.

Here's the happy couple (us) enjoying a first shot in front of our hole in the ground... now complete with cement!
