HA HA! GOTCHA! Ok so that might be a cruel joke... please forgive us, but we just couldn't resist! We really are going to be parents-- just to a new baby puppy! We met with a lady that works for RC Willey to get some bids on tile and carpet last weekend and she told us that she has a purebred "papered" golden retriever who mated with a purebred "papered" black lab, and they just had puppies! We saw them at her house and they are adorable. She was selling them on KSL.com for $250 each, but said she would give us one for free if we wanted one. Can you believe it? She is so sweet! Right when we got in the car, Carson was crazy about the idea and started joking about how it would be a good stepping-stone to parenthood... but the truth is it will be good to care for a dog instead of only ourselves and you don't find many puppies that are 1/2 lab 1/2 golden retriever... that's a pretty cool mix!Sunday, June 29, 2008
AN ANNOUNCEMENT.....
Well it's time for us to let you know of a little announcement... After much discussion and thought, we have decided to adopt a little black baby girl. We have met with the parents twice now in Layton and feel that it's time to start a family. We are excited and hope that you can join in the happiness of our decision. Scroll down to see a picture of our little girl that Carson will be picking up Thursday. We are excited to start the adventure of parenthood!
